Lightning strike risk not linked to mobile phones
Recent media claims that mobile phones increase the risk of being hit by lightning were misleading, AMTA CEO Chris Althaus said in a series of letters published in newspapers across Australia. AMTA's reponse has also been published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) in response to an earlier report in the Journal.
Barry Borzillo resigns as Ericsson MD - thanks from AMTA
This week saw the announcement by Ericsson Australia that Managing Director Barry Borzillo has tendered his resignation and confirmed that he would be joining Tenix Solutions in the role of CEO. Mr Borzillo has been an influential figure within the AMTA network, serving as Deputy Chair and Chair of AMTA's Finance and Audit Committee.
