AMTA asks Minister for details of South Australian mobile phone complaints campaign AMTA has written to the South Australian Minister for Consumer Affairs asking for details of her campaign to identify customer complaints about mobile phones. AMTA Chief Executive Officer, Chris Althaus, wrote this week to the Minister for Consumer Affairs, Jennifer Rankine, about her phone-in campaign asking customers to call a hotline to register their complaints. |

We all loved the idea of helping to plant trees by rounding up as many old phones as we could. Some of the phones handed in are real museum pieces” said Louise Ingram, Communications Manager for Nokia. Louise estimates that Nokia have collected well over 100 mobile phones. |

NSW wins agreement on phone jamming trial in prisons, says Justice Minister A deadline has been set for the testing of phone jamming devices in correction centres, NSW Minister for Justice John Hatzistergos said today. Mr Hatzistergos said at the Corrective Services Minister’s Conference (CSMC) in New Zealand, the Commonwealth had finally agreed the first phase of a laboratory trial would be completed by August 15. |
