AMTA has welcomed a new Board Member, Kalevi Kostiainen of Nokia Siemens Networks, following yesterday’s 2009 Annual General Meeting in Sydney.

Louise Sexton(VHA) was reappointed Chair of AMTA and Josh Delgado (Samsung) Deputy Chair. Other directors to be reappointed yesterday were: Ross Fielding (Telstra) and Henry Calvert (Optus).

Other AMTA directors are Jacqueline Hey (Ericsson); Emile Baak (Nokia); Brendan Park (Alcatel-Lucent); Timo Brouwer (Motorola).

Ms Sexton thanked Board Members who had retired during 2008-09.

“I extend my thanks to the AMTA Board for their engagement and support during the year. In particular, I express the industry’s appreciation to five retiring Board Members, whose dedicated service has helped guide our industry,” she said.

“Former Chair Holly Kramer, Dean Smith, Frances Martin, David McMahon and Paul Tyler have stepped down this year.”
