Endangered Bandicoots to Benefit from MobileMuster - I can do that - Schools Recycling Challenge

MobileMuster says a “Big Thankyou” to the 164 schools participating in the “ I can do that” schools recycling challenge for collecting 849 kg of mobile phone components

This means that MobileMuster together with Landcare Australia will be able to help protect and restore the habitats of at least 29 bandicoots. What a great result!

MobileMuster joined with Landcare Australia and for every 30kg of mobile phones and accessories collected by schools in the “I can do that” schools recycling challenge, MobileMuster would donate $100 to Landcare Australia to help to restore a bandicoot’s habitat. This will include tree planting and predator proof fencing, as well as creating community awareness.

Congratulations also to our winning students and schools. Forest Hill Primary School near Wagga Wagga in NSW is the National schools recycling champion. They collected 38kg of mobile phones and will receive early in the new year a StarBoard FX-DUO 77” Interactive Whiteboard value at $3,449, which has been kindly donated by Hitachi Australia.
