For the 10 months to October this year, there were nearly 7.3 million mobile phone shipments to Australia, according to the latest industry figures.

There were 7,294,445 shipments to October 2009, compared to 7,242,252 in the same period last year. This represents a slight increase of 0.7 % increase.

In October 2009 there were 945,722 shipments compared to 1,218,642 in October 2008.
