There were 711,915 mobile phone handsets shipped to Australia in March, according to the latest Informark figures.

The 711,915 handsets, which compared to 788,908 (down 9.8%) mobiles shipped in the month of March in 2009. In the first quarter of 2010, there were 1,666,948 shipments to Australia. This was 9.5% lower than the first quarter figures in 2009.
