MobileMuster goes “Totally Wild” next week

Channel 10’s Totally Wild next Thursday, along with some of the students who participated in MobileMuster’s Old Phones New Fence Posts Schools Recycling Challenge, take a tour of the mobile phone recycling facility and see how the old mobiles they collected for recycling are turned into plastic fence posts.

The old phones new fence posts school recycling challenge was held earlier this year and for every 5kg collected by participating schools MobileMuster and Australian Composite Technology donated a fence post to the Victorian communities affected by bushfires in February this year. As a result 720 fence posts were donated, thanks to schools collecting more than 3,500 kg of mobile phones, batteries, chargers and accessories.

So put in your diary Totally Wild, Thursday 26 November at 7:30am on Network Ten.
