Mobilemuster recognised at National Landcare Awards

As part of last night’s National Landcare Awards, held in the Great Hall of Parliament House in Canberra, MobileMuster was recognised by Landcare Australia Limited for its support to the thousands of landcare groups across Australia through MobileMuster’s Old Phones More Trees.

 

MobileMuster has been supporting Landcare Australia through the Old Phones More Trees campaign since 2007. The initiative celebrates World Environment Day and it not only helps keep old mobiles phones and accessories out of landfill but to date has helped landcare groups plant over 200,000 trees Australia wide.

 

Recycling Manager, Rose Read accepted the plaque on behalf of AMTA and MobileMuster.

 

Other corporate partners recognised included Coles, ComputerShare, Westpac, Jemena, Qantas Foundation, Freehills, Leightons. Holden, Colgate Palmolive, Woolworths Corporate Express, Spicers Paper, MECU and Toshiba.
