Australia’s famous America’s Cup winning helmsman, John Bertrand, will be auctioned at the Telco Sailing Challenge on Sydney Harbour on November 27.
The winners of the auction get one of the best sailors in the world to help steer their boat in the Sailing Challenge, which provides a great opportunity to network with mobile telecommunication industry colleagues – and helping two major charities in the process.
Now is the time to grab your company team, invite your telco partners and secure a yacht for AMTA’s big industry day. Registration for the event can be done on the website for the Challenge
This year’s race aims to raise awareness and funds for two prominent youth charities - the Alannah and Madeline Foundation and the Salvation Army's Oasis Youth Support Network.
The race is being managed and conducted by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) at Rushcutters Bay and our aim is to have 40 boats racing, all sponsored by major telecommunications companies and their business partners.
We ask you to assist us by taking a yacht on the day for our worthy cause. In addition to helping two charities in need, you will be involved in a great sailing challenge and some fun at the post race celebrations back on the CYCA deck. What better excuse do you need to be on spectacular Sydney Harbour?
