Friday June 5th marks World Environment Day and businesses, councils and schools around Australia have been showing their concern for the environment by recycling their old mobile phones. In the lead up to World Environment Day many large businesses like Nestle, Red Bull Australia and KPMG have joined with MobileMuster to encourage their employees to hand in their old mobile phones for recycling. Councils are also helping to spread the word at fairs held for World Environment Day including Parramatta City Council, Manly Sustainability Fair and Gladstone Ecofest.
