The ideal opportunity to network with mobile telecommunication industry colleagues – and all for a worthy cause – will present itself on November 27 on Sydney Harbour at the Telco Charity Sailing Challenge.
Now is the time to grab your company team, invite your telco partners and secure a yacht for AMTA’s big industry day. Registration for the event can be done on the website for the Challenge
Alicia Beachley, from the organisers, Aprilfive, said preparation is underway and this year’s aim is to raise awareness and funds for two prominent charities in support of youth - the Alannah and Madeline Foundation and the Salvation Army's Oasis Youth Support Network.
To help achieve AMTA’s fundraising goals and raise the profile of our event, we are excited to announce that we have confirmed America’s Cup winning helmsman John Bertrand's participation in the challenge.
The race is being managed and conducted by the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA) at Rushcutters Bay and our aim is to have 50 boats racing a scratch start; all sponsored by major telecommunications companies and their business partners.
We ask you to assist us by providing your yacht and crew for our worthy cause. In addition to helping two charities in need, you will be involved in a great sailing challenge and some fun at the post race celebrations back on the CYCA deck. What better excuse do you need to be on spectacular Sydney Harbour?
