Design Victoria is partnering with the Centre for Design at RMIT University to deliver the Business Ready eco-design seminar and workshop series for designer, design consultancies and in-house deign teams.
The first seminar of the series Delivering Eco-Design for Clients: Principles and Introduction was held earlier this week in Melbourne. Speakers included Mick Pearce, Designer and Architect of CH2 Building, Andrew Carr, Manager Life Cycle Assessment, Centres for Design RMIT University and Rose Read, Manager Recycling who presented a case study on MobileMuster and designing mobile phones for the environment and recycling.
The seminar provided an overview of the fundamental eco-design principles and strategy adopted by industry and how best to guide clients through the sustainability journey.
