MobileMuster on show at Melbourne’s Waste Education Conference

The conference held last week in Melbourne provided a forum for metropolitan Councils to investigate the gaps in waste education and determine how these gaps might be filled by initiatives in the future.

MobileMuster had on display a suite of educational material and tools to assist local council waste educators with their role in working with communities, schools and businesses in their local area as well as unveiling our latest educational DVD explaining what happens to old mobile phones.

Local councils and waste educators are important advocates for mobile phone recycling. By attending this conference MobileMuster can ensure the support provided is relevant and timely in assisting them in their role of implementing Melbourne’s Waste management and Resource Recovery Strategic Plan which was released last month.

The conference was attended by waste managers, education officers, state government representatives, regional waste management groups and Councillors.
