MobileMuster participates in key Local Government and Waste Industry Forums

MobileMuster, the official recycling program of the mobile phone industry, will be involved in two important events next week.

RENEW NSW Forum

Regional Networks for Effective Waste Management (RENEW NSW ) is holding its quarterly meeting next Tuesday in Coffs Harbour. The group was formed to improve resource recovery and waste management in regional NSW by proactively working together. RENEW includes representatives from eight regional waste management groups that encompass 95 Councils in rural regional NSW.

MobileMuster has a strong and increasing involvement with RENEW, with over half their members helping to promote and collecting mobile phones for recycling. MobileMuster will be providing RENEW members with an update on recent results and activities as well as exploring how members and MobileMuster can work together in the future.

Waste 2009 Conference — Australia’s premier waste management conference!

The Waste 2009 Conference is also being held in Coffs Harbour from 1-2 April 2000. It is Coffs Harbour's 9th waste conference and MobileMuster, a Gold Sponsor, will again be exhibiting and participating in the conference.

Australia's premier waste management conference will feature inspirational addresses from international and national speakers, as well as covering all the latest practical developments under the theme of ‘innovative ideas creating practical solutions.

The conference features keynotes, case studies and panel discussions. MobileMuster’ s Recycling Manager, Rose Read, will facilitate an important session on E-Waste Solutions and lead the subsequent panel discussion.

The Waste 2009 Conference will cover the latest topics including:

Waste/ Recycling Contractors and Local Councils are important contributors to the success of MobileMuster and with the majority of waste/recycling companies and over 80 councils representatives attending the Conference this will be a great opportunity to further develop these partnerships.
