Mobilemuster Score Points for the Environment with the Sydney Roosters & South Sydney Rabbitohs tonight

As Keep Australia Beautiful Week activities continue around the country this weekend, supporters attending tonight’s clash between the Sydney Roosters and South Sydney Rabbitohs at the Sydney Football Stadium (SFS) are being urged to ‘Score Points for the Environment’ to help fight climate change and protect our natural resources.

As part of the NRL’s support of Keep Australia Beautiful Week, which runs from Monday 25 – Sunday 31 August, NRL clubs and players around the country have been encouraging individuals, businesses and schools to get involved by logging on to www.kab.org.au and participating in the 100-point challenge.

At the start of the Week, Sydney Roosters’ coach Brad Fittler was joined by Actor/Model, Erin McNaught, and Miss Universe Australia, Laura Dundovic at the SFS to launch the campaign.

Erin McNaught will also make an appearance at tonight’s Keep Australia Beautiful Week promotion to thank young Roosters and Rabbitohs fans who get involved.

Roosters and Rabbitohs fans attending the game are being urged to bring along old mobile phones, batteries and charges, as well as empty printer cartridges, for recycling during the pre-match activities being held in the SFS forecourt (Driver Ave) from 3:30pm.

A Samsung A811 handset will be awarded as a prize, and MobileMuster will give away a Rabbitohs or Roosters phone flasher to the first 200 fans of each team who recycle their old mobile phone.

Tonight’s activity is just one way to earn points towards your 100-point goal and anyone registering their involvement online at www.kab.org.au on or before Sunday (31 August), could also win a $10,000 Modern Solar home make-over.

Encouraging supporters to get involved, Erin McNaught said: "Get involved and Score Points for the Environment. By working together we can help fight climate change and protect our valuable resources! All it takes is a few small changes around the home and office and you will be helping to do your bit for a healthier greener world.”

For people not attending tonight’s Roosters vs Rabbitohs match, you can still get involved in the Score Points for the Environment challenge. Simply visit and register online at www.kab.org.au
